There are two licensing classifications for this profession: Physician Assistant and Temporary Physician Assistant. The examination requirements for each classification can be found in the corresponding tab below.
Physicians Assistant
Licensing requirements for the physician assistant licensing classification require passing the Physicians Assistant National Certification Examination (PANCE) or the Physicians Assistant National Recertification Exam (PANRE). For more information on these examinations, please see below.
