NEW REPORTING REQUIREMENT | Healthcare Providers with a Third-Party Medical Records Service

On July 1, 2023, HB 312 was enacted which requires all healthcare providers who utilize the services of a third-party medical records company to report this information to the Division of Professional Licensing. New Training Requirement for DEA-registered practitioners

  • The Drug Enforcement Agency | Diversion Unit is now requiring a one-time 8-hour Medication Assisted Treatment Training for all DEA-registered practitioners. For more information, refer to this document: MATE Training Letter  

Please Note: Senate Bill 035

  • Senate Bill 035 did not change the licensing laws for Physicians or Dentists, as these professions already have endorsement pathways included in their law. All licensing requirements can be found on the Laws and Rules tab on each profession's page.
