Notice to All Audiology Candidates
Utah candidates will have the option to take the PRAXIS 5342 or 5343 from now until August 31, 2021. Beginning September 1, 2021, the only option will be the PRAXIS 5343. The PRAXIS 5343 is available for on-line proctoring.
NO CHANGES TO THE SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY PRAXIS EXAM.
In order to be licensed as either a Speech-Language Pathologist or Audiologist in Utah, applicants must hold a current certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or provide documentation of passing the PRAXIS exam for their profession. PRAXIS exams are administered by ASHA. Applicants should submit documentation of their passing score with their license application.
