Apply for a Residential Master Electrician License (Out-of-State Applicants Not Applying by Endorsement)

The following requirements must be met:

4,000 hours of electrical experience as a licensed Residential Journeyman Electrician
Pass the Utah Residential Master Electrician Law and Rule exam and the Utah Residential Electrician Practical exam.

Bachelors or Masters degree in a Electrical Engineering program accredited by EAC/ABET.
2,000 hours of work experience as a licensed Apprentice Electrician.
Pass the Utah Residential Master Electrician Law and Rule exam and the Utah Residential Electrician Practical exam.
