NEW REPORTING REQUIREMENT | Healthcare Providers with a Third-Party Medical Records Service
On July 1, 2023, HB 312 was enacted which requires all healthcare providers who utilize the services of a third-party medical records company to report this information to the Division of Professional Licensing. Elimination of DATA-Waiver Program

Electronic Prescriptions for Controlled Substances
Beginning January 1, 2022, Utah Code Annotated 58-37-22 requires that most* prescriptions issued for a controlled substance be transmitted electronically as an electronic prescription; however, you may apply for a limited extension by submitting the form linked below.
